Life is Short – Don’t Postpone Your Happiness | Acheloa Wellness

Although we wish we could tell you otherwise, we’re not invincible or going to live forever. On the plus side, however, the sooner we can all come to terms with death, the sooner we can truly start to live.



I was always under the notion that I would stumble over happiness at some point in my future; that it would just arrive on my doorstep one day. The problem was that I didn’t have enough time to wait for it to come to me… I still don’t. In order to be happy, I realized I would have to discover it for myself, and discover at that very minute. But enough about me.


We’re not here to scare you, but we are trying to serve as your wake-up call. If you don’t absolutely love what you’re doing in your life, then maybe it’s time to consider other options. Look at the questions below. If you answer “NO” to at least one of the below, then maybe you need to reconsider some of the recent decisions you’ve been making.

  • Wake up each morning energetic to see the day through?

  • Feel you have passion in your day-to-day life?

  • Surround yourself with loved ones who support you?

  • Believe you’re making an impact?

  • Generally like what you’re doing?

  • Enjoy your free time?

  • Prioritize what’s most important to you?

If you begin each morning dreading what you’re about to do, then why are you doing it? I’m not saying everyday is perfect, but it’s important to determine whether your bad days are outnumbering your good ones, and then make a conscious effort to change that.
