Find a few moments in your day to make a small list of things you're grateful for. This allows you to focus on the positive things in your life and cultivates a feeling of peace and well-being.
Ayurveda says that how we perceive the world affects our health. For example, if you have a co-worker or boss that makes your day-to-day life challenging, think of how that can affect you over time. You may experience anxiety, burnout, stress, headaches, resentment, disrupted sleep, or hopelessness. In this scenario, I would challenge you to reflect on this difficult person as part of your gratitude practice. Find things about that person that you can be thankful for. Gratitude isn't just about acknowledging our good fortune, it's also about looking for silver linings in difficult situations.
