Awareness - The first step in managing stress and learning how to live a stress-free life is to become aware of your current stress levels. You need to pause and take stock of your current stress levels. This involves identifying any physical symptoms or changes in behavior that indicate stress is affecting you.

Hello, everyone. Happy Thursday. I'm ready to get right into it. Today, we are talking about stress and the five steps to stress-free success. Many of you are feeling overwhelmed and unable to enjoy yourself fully. I'm here to help you achieve success without the stress.

On this show, I share advice and strategies for accountants, consultants, and attorneys.

We're still in National Stress Awareness Month. Have you been taking stock of your stress? This has been a strange month with random illnesses and other challenges. Awareness is the first step to stress success, which we talked about last week. We discussed the five pillars of burnout and added symptoms specific to accounting and law. Check out last week's episode if you haven't already.

I want to share a client success story. My client Lamont, an attorney, said coaching helped her accept herself and show up authentically in her life and career. Coaching with Lauren works, so just do it. I'm also conducting a data study with my clients, measuring their stress, time management, confidence, and work-life balance over time.

Today, I'll take you through a five-step process to break the pattern of stress:

Notice: Become aware of your stress. Take a moment to pause and figure out what's going on.

Evaluate: Ask yourself what went well, what didn't go well, and what you would do differently. This step helps you understand your situation better.

Tweak: Make small adjustments. Start with something manageable, like drinking more water or setting a bedtime.

Implement: Put your plan into action. If it doesn't work the first time, try again and adjust as needed.

Repeat: Continue the process. Notice, evaluate, tweak, implement, and repeat.

Stress-free life doesn't have to be hard. Sometimes all it takes is accountability. If you can't hold yourself to it, ask for help. I specialize in helping hardworking women overcome small obstacles to achieve happiness and productivity.
